Syria: U.K. Pledges To Support Terror In Syria.

British Foreign Secretary William Hague has vowed to step up support for terrorist groups in Syria in a further attempt to cause additional unrest in the country.

Frustration has grown in the recent months among British MPs, as attempts to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his government have failed.

Hague addressed the state-run BBC on Friday 20 July, that British policies will focus more outside the Security Council and intensify its work to support aggressive groups in Syria who target its government officials.

The British and other Western powers’ interference in Syria’s affairs further developed in the last few months after NATO forces took satellite technology into the country along with weapons. The weapons were used to train local assassins in order to escalate violence and to target Syrian officials for termination.

On Wednesday July 18, four senior Syrian officials including Defense Minister Dawoud Rajiha, Deputy Defense Minister Assef Shawkat, Security Chief General Hisham Ikhtiyar, and Assistant Vice President Hassan Turkmeni were killed in a bombing at the headquarters of the National Security Bureau in Damascus.

Moreover, Hague has argued against Russia’s decision not to involve itself in Syrian affairs for a third time claiming it would regret its actions.
