Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Monday said that the Russian suggestions towards solving the crisis in Syria are right ones and they should be listed in the draft resolution at the UN Security Council.
In a press conference in Moscow, Lavrov said that violence should be stopped by all the Syrian sides, adding that “We oppose any tendencies aimed at downfalling the Syrian state and refuse extortion and paving the way for military intervention in Syria.”
He stressed that Moscow’s foreign policy is “firm and based on the international legitimacy and laws,” adding that the participants in Geneva meeting started to distort the results of this meeting...read more
