DAMASCUS- Syrian President Bashar al-Assad endorsed a counter-terrorism law, which came just days after he announced that Syria is at a state of real war.
The anti-terrorism law, announced by state-run SANA news agency on Monday, says that punitive actions would be leveled against anyone proven to have committed acts related to terrorism.
President Bashar al-Assad issued Law No. 19 on combating terrorism. The anti-terrorism law identified some terms in connection with the application of this law provisions, as “The law is anti-terrorism law and the state is the Syrian Arab Republic.” ...read more
