Turkey insists its military jet shot down by Syrian forces on Friday wasn't spying - but was on a training flight. The incident adds to the pressure piled up on Damascus - as NATO is now going to look into what happened. Syria maintains it was just protecting its sovereignty - as the plane crossed into its territory - by mistake, according to Turkey, which is a NATO member.
